Nightfall: Chapter 2

I growl slightly, taking the challenge for what it was.

"Don't start something if you can't face the consequences..."

I snap in front of him our faces less then a inch apart.

"Bring it on Chihuahua, In human form, just like you said."

I sit unmoving, staring at her for a minute, until I dart forward, taking her down in a tackle.

I roll and pin him under me.

"Is that all you got?"

I grin.

Vampires were strong, but they were also light.

I stand easily picking her up with me.

"No, maybe you should give up, save yourself humiliation."

I throw her at the couch, knowing she won't hurt herself, because I was probably the only thing that could kill her that was anywhere nearby.

I blow a hair out of my way and stand up.

"I could say the same for you, getting beat by a girl."

I run up and knock his leg out from under him, making him lose balance just for the slightest of seconds. I grab him and twist him, putting him in a firm grip hug and constricting his arms.

I sigh.

"I expected a better move than that."

I throw myself backwards, trapping her between myself and the couch.

"Touche..."

Hmm... I wonder...

I wanted to try something to see if it was a legit tactic. I reach up and wrap my arm around Conner's neck, pinning him down. The begin to tickle him.

=i decide to go and talk to Veni, see if I can talk some sense into her. I grabbed a few neck knives, and switch blades and attach them to holsters on my thighs, sides of my shins, belt, etc. I wasn going to play nice with her if I was could help it, but the odds of that are fairly slim=

(V)
=i look at Damire, and notice his hand=
-Damire, what is it?=

(Damire)
=I look up and see Veni=

-I spotted a certain Nick Knight outside of the warehouse. I was just making sure my sidearm was there in case he made a move.-

=I give a thin smile=

-Nick? Like, Nick Knight? Gods...what's he doing?-

=I nod morosely=

-That is the him...I think it may have to do with our little Nightbane house guest here.-

=I rub my chin=

-Even after a century here...he still puzzles me.-

-But what is he doing? Signalling? Watching? Taking a piss? What?-

=my mental tone a bit on the exasperated side=

=I look once more=

-Looks like he's just keeping an eye on her...nothing more-

=I keep my expression almost neutral=

=i nod=
-Let me know if he does anything. If he does anything suspicious, I'm going to go have words with him-

=i just walked along, heading back towards the meat market area to see if she was still there. Part of me was hoping she was, the other wasn't. This wasn't going to be easy, by any means=

=I take a whiff of the air as I look around and spot a shadowy figure=

Ah...so the lover comes...how sweet

=I look to Veni=

-Looks like someone wants a chat, Veni...and you'll be surprised at who it is.-

=i snarl lightly=
-Do you see any weapons on him?-

=I look and nod=

-Looks like he does...-

=I start to growl=

-Let's hope he wasn't expecting such a warm reception.-

Tria finally let Dawn up. The two embraced, and Dawn left quietly, not wanting to be more of a bother.
Of course, the bastards outside made her draw both guns.
"What the fuck is this." She growled.

=i look at the nightbane from earlier, brushing past Nick=
Nothing. I'm assuming you've been here for a while, have you seen someone with silver lines on her face like mine?

(V)
=i growl and reach for my knife=
-Tell me what he does. I want to know EVERYTHING-

=I nod, my hand nearing my knife=

-Got it.-

=I tense up a bit, feeling my blood go up=

Dawn didn't falter. "And if I did?" She said evenly.
Nick wasn't about to kill her.
So she could afford to shove guns in some vampire's face.

I'd been silent for a while, taking notes, scribbling them out, and then writing down more in different ways, but it all ended up meaning the same thing; Werewolf.
If I wanted to take down Knights operations, I'd need that Wolfes help, and that went against everything I stood for.

"And that werewolf... he could rival Knight, could he?" I quickly jot down the Wolfes name, and then start to rapidly write down the outstanding features of these two. I'd need to find them again some day, that was for sure.

I'd like to know where. I want to have a discussion with her, so any information you give me will be greatly appreciated.

"Sorry, dunno. Was meeting my sister at a neutral location. Don't know where he is."
Dawn knew it wouldn't work.
