Nightfall: Chapter 2

I go and sit down on the other side of the couch.

"Well.."

I pick up a TV remote and turn on the TV.

"TV works..."

(Dimitri)
=I look at the newcomer=

My friend here has been here a little more than two centuries. I, myself, have been here for a little over a century.

=I gesture to Anton as he nods, agreeing with my statement=

(Damire)

=I huff lightly in anger, but let it go, knowing it mattered little=

Indeed you are Veni...

=I keep my thoughts to myself as I keep watch=

Ari nods. "Let Tria have her sister for a bit. She deserves that much, don't you think?"
He looked at the two.

"I see. So you'd have fair amounts of knowledge on this place..."
I close my eyes and rub my head softly, sighing. This was going to be a long stretch, I could already tell.

"What do you two know about Nick Knight?" I grab the dagger off of the ground, and run a finger along it's blade, looking from one to the other, my blue eyes not once fading from their cold determination.

I don't look down.

"Good."

=i nod=
Of course.

=i smile again and start walking away, back towards my room=

"Yup.."

It was getting really awkward now.

"Soo umm..."

=Anton was the first to answer, him having been in the states longer than I have.=

Anton: He's the most powerful and influential supernatural figure in the city, if not the entire state. He has the police, media, and a bunch of other organizations in his pocket. He has agents everywhere in the city, and likes to be told of any new supernatural resident that arrives here. He claims it's for saftey reasons, but we have reason to believe otherwise.

=I look to Anton, nodding in agreement=

(Damire)

=I nod and take my leave=

Of course. You have no further argument from me.

=I head out to a corner of the warehouse, and find a spot to clear my mind=

I rub my forehead and sigh a little, surprised and saddened. "So he's quite a powerful figure then. And I'd imagine there are few figures, supernatural or not, that surpass him in the city?"
I look at Anton, expecting he'd answer me.

I quickly remember my book and yanked it out, rapidly taking notes on everything he said. This would be vital if I intended to do anything to stop him.

I look down, putting my eyes on Claire.

"Don't worry. I'm more confused than you. Just this morning I was getting ready to kill you."

Look into his eyes.

"Actually I was about to kill you, you were running, remember."

(Dimitri)

=I look at Anton, nodding for him to continue=

Anton: There is at least one that I know of that has nearly as much influence. One happens to be a friend of mine. Damire, a werewolf who's only 70 years his junior, has a decent amount of influence in the city. He has connections with the Shadow Claws, who are not to be taken lightly.

=I look again, nodding in agreement=

"You didn't realise that you were running straight into a trap?"

"I did, I just knew I would've won."

I put on my cocky smile.

"Not against a pack of Werewolves. Instant communication gives us a big advantage."

"That may be so, but years of experience have made me a expert fighter."

"Not against a Werewolf pack." I repeat, "'specially not a Blood Moon pack. We're the ones who hunt down primals."

(Damire)

=I look around and spot a very familiar figure in Nick Knight=

Ah...so she's been your pet, hasn't she?

=I feel my hand stray towards my knife=

Dawn relaxes, closing her eyes.
"It was nice to see you Tria...I missd you...but I have to leave soon...I don't want to endanger you any more then you already have been."
Tria sighed, leaning forward to rest her forehead on the nape of Dawn's neck. "Stay safe."
"Always."

"That may be so, but I would still win. I'm an Alpha."

I grin mischievously.

"I could beat you without even changing..."

"Oh is that so?"

I get up in his face.

"Well prove it big bad wolf."

I sigh.

"I'm not going to start this."

I lean down and whisper into his ear.

"I was wrong, you don't smell like dog. You reek of chicken."
