Yes. You're one of us now, a vampire. I know it's a lot to take in if you aren't ready for it.

"What?! Vampires... But..."

I sat up.

"How can I be a Vampire? All I did w-"

That explained it. The neck pain. The blood. The feeding, the biting. It was Dracula stuff. Maybe he was real for all I know now. Maybe this was just some sort of bad dream, one of those... Lucid? Ones.

I hoped it was.

You're confused. Don't worry, that's what we are here for. You were bitten maybe just under an hour ago. It usually takes a few days to a week to understand it all. Please, feed, it'll help.

=I take in the scene, trying to console her=

Agreed, the more you feed, the easier it is to transition.

=I want to say more, but keep my mouth shut=

"I can't... That's... It's not right! It's blood!"

It was wrong. All wrong. But somewhere inside me, in I guess you could call the vampire me, it thought it was right.

=I nod in silent agreement, knowing I had to deal with this with Dimitri=

Much like Dimitri's reaction...oh how fate pokes fun at me

=I rub my chin, thinking on what to do=

I had no choice really... It wasn't a real person, right? Just a bllood pack? I could... It's... Not that... Unatural.

"Okay..."

I pick up the pack, and begin to feed, noting my new 'adjustements' to my teeth.

See? Much better, right?

"Good."

Dawn took a nap.

The urge had... Lowered, so I guessed it was better. I nodded slightly, trying to avoid awkward eye contact as I fed on some unknown persons blood.

Keep going, as much as you can.

The pack was about 2/10 full now, and I needed a break. I stopped feeding for a few moments.

"What happens... Well... Next?" I was curious. Thrown into this world or lucid dream without knowing anything. What was I going to do?

=I actually feel good, like I was my old self again=

"What do you mean, my senses? I can smell, hear, see, you know, already. Maybe my sight is still a bit funny but..."

The blood pack was empty, except for a few drops left in it.
