Nightfall: Chapter 2

"Fine." She said. "I'll be taking a nap. Wake me if you need me."

Dawn proceeded to steal the couch and take a nap.

The water was... Not the best, to say the least. It was just really, really, cold. But, it worked at cleaning, even if it wasn't that great.

I guessed it was time to think. But I couldn't. My head was full of... Everything I didn't understand. What was good, what was wrong? How was this entire thing going to work?

=i sigh as she just leaves the conversation, but it's understandable. I head back to the bedroom where Anton was just waiting on the side on the bed. I go back to the bathroom and knock on the door=
Sister? I got you some spare clothes. They should fit until you get some spares.

"Thanks."

I stopped the shower, now clean. I began to dry off, before wrapping the towel around me.

=i open the door just enough to fit my arm and the clothes through and set them on the counter before closing the door again and gong back to the bedroom=

I roll the towel up, starting to get dressed. The top was a bit big, but that didn't really bother me. Everything else fit. I probably shouldn't ask where all this clothing came from. I left the bathroom, hanging the towel up.

=i waited in the bedroom, until she came out=
All ready?

"Yep."

I had to go along with, well, whatever was going on for now. Probably more 'sense testing', but... At least I wasn't feeding on people.

I wanna test your reaction times.

=as I say 'your,' i grab a pencil and throw it at her=

I watch the pencil get thrown, as I attempt to grab it, it just kind of 'pings' off my hand. It did actually hurt.

=i grab another object, this one a pen and throw it just after the second pings off her hand=
Use your reflexes.

I nearly dropped the pen, but did manage to catch it. These were the bonuses about being a Vampire, I guess. Not that being a Vampire sounded all good...

That's better. You're seeing some of the perks of being a vampire, sister.

"I guess..."

I felt tired, even more so than before. Maybe I'd go to sleep, wake up and this would all be gone. I brushed a few strands of hair away from my eye, so I could watch the vampire. I didn't know anyone's name here, nor did they know mine. That made the situation... Odd. Then something hit me.

What would happen to my parents?

=I smile, and decide to go for one last test, her eyesight=

This...should be interesting

=I stand as far away from the new one as possible and hold a coin in my right hand, and a coin in my left hand=

Now, just one last test, and its a simple one...I want you to guess what I have in each of my hands. Then you are done.

Well, for now. We still need to teach you to control your urge like we have. Speaking of which, I need to feed.

=i grab a pack off the bed nd quickly start to drain it, biting it open and sucking down the cold blood, someinth my inner demon purred at=

=I nod, my pride slightly miffed=

Well...it has been a few hours since I've fed...

=I take a blood pack that I had put in a pocket, biting it open and draining it's contents, my inner beast feeling pleased=

There it was again. That urge. Probably from the sight of the... Urm... Blood... Should I feed? Or whatever it's called, or not? I mean... I guess I should. I shook my head, as I had ended up doing when this urge came around.

=i look at her=
Do you feel the need to feed again?

"Yes..." Feeding was still... Wrong. I felt the urge to do it, but it was wrong. It was just a blood pack, not actually someone, right?

You feel hungry? Like you need to? Like it is the only thing you should do?

"I... I don't know."

I shrugged my shoulders, and just looked at the two vampires.

Well, if you feel that way, then we really need to train you. You should never feel helpless to your inner demon, only in control.

And, of course, this control takes time.

"What?"

Inner demon? Was that the... Urm, urge? Never feel helpless to it? How?
