You'll find out. But you'll need both ears. You know how you hear things differently when you turn your head? Use that to your advantage.

I had no idea about what he meant when turning my head. Was it you heard better facing a certain direction? I didn't know, and, I was pretty tired.

"Still not working."

=i walked around a bit, keeping my footsteps light and silent=
You notice how even though you can't tell I'm moving, you know my voice comes from a different direction.

"I do notice."

It was hard, as the distance didn't vary much, but it worked... Slightly.

The sound of my voice goes into your ears differently, differnt angles and times, etc. Use that same concept to find distance. It's not easy, but it is possible. I takes a long time to perfect.

I could hear slight differences, but nothing that would most likely ever prove useful. I just kept listening.

Like how I can tell that not three blocks away to the left of the house, I can hear a T.V. going in an apartment.

=I control my breathing in order to keep focus=

But like Seln said...it takes a long time to master.

I yawn, still carrying on listening.

I sit upright, sighing. Looking around me, I don't see much other than shadows, and a stream of light. I walk over to it, and open it slowly, blinking in pain. Looking around I can see... shipping containers? I turn around to see a large red one, covered in dents and scratches.
"Oh that's right. Good to see it worked."
I smile softly, and grab my notebook from the corner of the container, along with my clothes. I'd always made sure to not lose personal objects when I transformed.

"Nick Knight... I need to act fast." I begin my hunt, to find anyone that could help me.

Dawn woke up with a yawn. She sat up, rubbing her eyes. Then she slid off the couch and grabbed her jacket and things from the table.
"Goodbye." She said quietly. "I'm off."

Dawn left the apartment, got into the Veyron, and roared off.

I open my eyes, blinking. And find myself staring at the back of Claire's head.

I didn't care how wrong I felt, for now. It was comfy. So I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer.

She doesn't feel cold like the rest of them...

I storm through the streets, swift and agile as I pass through the crowds. Something had changed last night. I could smell a large group of... I wasn't sure what, but they were nearby. As I kept walking, I felt the smell hit its strongest, and then... fade. I looked around, and saw nothing. I looked up, nothing, down, no-
"It's underground? Really?" I scratch my head and sigh. "How on Earth..."

Feed whenever you want. We aren't working on your control right now.

"Well... Urm..."

I didn't want to feed. I didn't want to start getting... Addicted.

But that urge was there.

Just listen.

Just keep listening.

You will have to feed at least once a night from now on. So you may as well get used to the taste and feeling. But, if you don't want to feed, you don't have to, but it will give you energy.

I begin to search, looking for a way down. It took me a while to realize that the most logical thing would be to search nearby buildings. The stores proved fruitless, and many of the residential areas were wasted time. That left only an apartment block. And I only needed to sneak behind the scenes to find a sunken door. "Well well well..."
I brace myself and open the door slowly, and begin to walk down, prepared for anything, but hoping for Vampires.

"Oh... Okay. I'll fe- Have a pack."

I didn't like the word feed. I still wasn't used to it...

We have a guest coming from down below.

=I let out a breath=

"Okay."

I close my eyes, and go back to listening to everything.

I close the door behind me, and blink a little with surprise. Wherever I was, it looked like a regular house. A normal, everyday, regular house. Except it was underground.
And judging by those people talking, inhabited. "Is that who I think it is?" I smirk a little, hearing Antons words.

Dawn tapped the screen.
"Call Nick Knight. Search phone directories."
-Number found. Calling.-

Dawn waited, sticking her Bluetooth headset on her ear.
