Nightfall: Chapter 4

As her screams subsided, she just sobbed. Dawn gave up.
She just hoped the woman at least let her be recognizable for her brother.

But the current stopped.
And Dawn lay there, sobbing.

"I... I'm sorry."

I break down crying, I wasn't angry anymore except at my mother.

I just wanted a Normal life...

"Y-you were right..."

Great.
As Dawn lay there panting, she managed to take a deep breath. "It's ok..." was all I dared to say.

I walk over and untie her before walking over to a wall and collapsing against it.

"Leave. Stay. Kill me. I don't care anymore... It took me over 80 years to realize my life was a waste... a giant fucking waste! I spent it killing and torturing and for what?.. A life all alone... Do you know how that feels?"

I take another swig of bourbon.

Sliding off the table...Dawn went over and sat in front of Lavaeu on her knees with her legs on either side of her body.
She then grabbed the bottle away and tossed it to the side. "Stop drinking. It won't help...and no. I don't know what it's like to be alone."
Dawn took a chance. She scooted forward and hugged the woman. "But I'm here. I forgive you...I'll be here so you won't be alone."



Max had once read a report from a trainer, saying that Dawn had a great weakness. After reading it, Max merely smiled and crossed it out.
"It's not a weakness; it's her strength." Was his exact words to the trainer.

I look up at her and wipe away some tears.

"You really are beautiful..."

I run my hand across the scar on her check.

"I could make it go away, painless for you..."

Dawn shook her head. "No. I want it as a reminder. I was down, and I just got back it. It's my way of keeping myself going. I'm not fallen. I'm risen."
Dawn still blushed as Lavaeu's hand went across her cheek.

I nod and try to stand up only to stumble around a bit. I was still drunk, mind you.

"Let me get you a place to sleep.."

At the thought of sleep my eye lids drop a bit.

Dawn stood, supporting her a bit. "I shouldn't impose..."
She just tortured me, now she's offering me a place to sleep? What the fuck is going on...

"Its too late in the night to be driving.. and its the least I could do.. besides your drunk!"

I walk, still supporting on her, up the stairs and come out of a wardrobe.

"You're drunk, actually...and your concern is touching."
I relent, mostly because I didn't want her to get mad and hook up the car battery again.

We walk over to my bedroom and I strip naked.

"Are you going to wear that to bed?"

I point to her clothes.

Dawn blushes. "Yes? I don't have any nightclothes." I answer, looking away from her body. "Are you insisting we sleep in the same bed?"

I come up behind her, and wrap my arms around her.

"Yes I am."

I then whisper the most suggestive and seducing things we could do into her ear.

Dawn's face went red. She started stuttering, clasping her hands together at chest level.
She couldn't decide...she was so tempted, but...what about Alodie? Sofia?
Dawn took a deep breath.
"Do you want to do all that to me?" She asked simply.

I rub my hand up and down her belly, like a dog look for a hole in the fence.

"Very much so.."

I kiss her neck gently.

Dawn looked at the hand.
"I don't know..." She said tentatively, still worried she might go evil again.

I laugh a little.

"I'll be gentle, and we don't have to do some of that... more hurtful things."

Dawn laid a hand on Lavaeu's.
"I'll make you a deal. I'll do this...but you promise to never go back on this choice? You'll promise to be a better person?"
Dawn couldn't believe she was about to use sex to get someone to make a promise.
What the fuck.
She wasn't a whore.

=I stop the car and listen again, the noise now gone=

Well...that's probably a good sign...

=I look and see a very familiar motorcycle and note the lack of a scuffle=

Well...Laveau certainly knows how to work fast...

=I sigh and turn the car around to tell Claire the news=

Let's see how well she takes it...

=i notice Alodie fell asleep, which I shouldn't be surprised at. I go into the back, and take out a blood pack, moving it and putting the opening into her mouth in a slow trickle, just in case. I don't know if Anton gave her any blood, but this would be better than nothing. I went back to where I was sitting and resumed reading=

I close the door behind me, sighing. Francis wouldn't want me around for the night, I knew that and he knew that.
I took the info, and a single gun, and returned back to where I had parked earlier in the day. I didn't know where I was gonna go, but it had to be somewhere.

Of course, she'll wonder where the hell Laveau is...

=I open the door and spot her henchmen=

If those deadbeats are here...she's bound to be here...

=i got to the end of a chapter, and headed upstairs to re-apply my face paint, the eye color drops, and the hair dye. I made as little noise as I could so as to let Alodie sleep away=
