=I continue to apply the red hot band of steel, until it fully sank into the cut=

The screaming won't help you now...

=I grin evilly, letting the metal sink into her skin, bringing out my knife=

Now...let's see if she's cracked...if not...I still have a few tricks up my sleeve...

Dawn kept the cursing up.
The pain...was immense...but nothing like the nerve thing...luckily.

That, and rage was one HELL of an anesthetic.


Ari sighed. "Vile? Is it not true they were once human too?" He stuck his hands in his pockets. "You should not always be ready to take a life. Even if they are a sworn enemies..." he rethought. "No...you should not be ready to take the life of someone you once held dear to your heart."

=I smile, my plans forming in my head=

=I take the blade and wait a for the pain to subside, and then start to make a cut above her left eye, plunging the blade all the way to the skull=

=I then slowly drag the blade, feeling it being slowly dragged along the skull=

Dawn screamed. She screamed loudly. The pain was so immense, she couldn't even think.

"STOP IT! PLEASE STOP!" she cried out. She couldn't take it anymore. "Please...stop!"

Ari laid a hand on Veni's shoulder. "Good."

=I nod, fully grasping the situation=

=I pause, listening=

=I smile menacingly=

Dawn sobs a bit. "What do you want!"

=I kneel down to her eye level=

I want to know what the Nightbane are doing here...and what Nick wanted from you.

"We're here to kill cretins like you...and Nick wanted to know the color of my panties." She said, the last part dripping with sarcasm.

=i change and head out of the warehouse, pausing for a second to see Damire and Nick talking. I looked at them quizzically, wondering what they could be up to=

=My eyes narrow at the at the sarcasm=

I don't think you fully grasp the position you are in.

=I drive the blade back into the cut, dragging it along her skull=

Now...tell me the truth...or things will get much worse.

(Damire)

=I turn and see Veni with a curious look on her face=

-How long have you been there, Veni?-

Dawn cried out. "He wanted to know how much the Nightbane knew about him!"

I blink, and close my book. The God Damned humans, of course. The Wolves, they'd ally with Knight easily, after all he was practically the key to their victory. The Vampires were weak minded right now, and while it would be possible to rally them together, they still weren't properly aligned yet, but the Nightbane...
I dotted down the final notes, and with noted hesitation, depart my encampment. I could deal with this woman another time, and the two Vampires would need to rally alongside me either way.

Climbing down, back into the alley, I begin to head out. I had three key goals in mind now, and each was exceedingly more difficult than the last.

(Dimitri)

=I slowly stop, then slowly remove the blade, a genuine smile on my face=

Ah...pain is a great clarifier...

=I lower to her eye level, twirling the knife in my hand=
