Nightfall: Chapter 4

Dawn looked at her.
"You got drunk, tortured me, I yelled at you, then you went on a guilt trip about being your mother, I got you to realize you weren't, then you nearly had sex with me but backed out because it felt wrong. You then offered to let me sleep here, so I did. You needed the company and a warm body to snuggle against."
She smiled softly at Lavaeu.

I look at her.

"Oh... Well..."

I lay my head back down on her chest, pretending to be tired while really hiding a deep blush.

I've had worse.. but why does this one feel different?

In fact I felt completely different, the want to do evil wasn't there. In stead was a warmer feeling that I've never experienced..

Dawn wrapped on arm around her shoulders while using her free hand to stroke Lavaeu's hair.
"Guess deciding to be good takesna lot out of you." She teased.

I look up frowning while still blushing.

"I feel different... It's weird..."

"Being good tends to make you feel better. Dunno why. You just feel more complete...kore you."
She smiled. "And you get more warm cuddles."

I smile and nuzzle her chest with my head, I then look up with a sad look on my face.

"I'm so sorry about what I did.. I wasn't thinking clearly.. I'm in your dept forever. If you ever need anything... just tell me."

"All I need is some more smiles in the world right now." She blushed at the nuzzling, but kept stroking her hair. "But keep that open...I might need a favor." She sighed. Dawn just hugged Lavaeu gently, falling silent .

Nope, not at all.

Good.

=I look to Soren=

Because I have news that Soren should hear.

I Sigh and let her pet my hair.

"Just tell me if you need something..."

"I will. I will." Dawn just petted her. "Just leave your mom's shadow and be good from now on."

I nod and rest my head on her, my headache mildly dying down.

I look over at Anton, a little intrigued. This could be anything from he stubbed his toe to he killed Nick Knight, and honestly I'd be pleased to hear anything.
Something about how willing he was to speak to me was... nice.

(Anton)

=I look to Soren=

I had a chat last night with someone who has a similar goal such as yours...

=I raise an eyebrow=

And she is quite interested in meeting you.

Dawn kept petting Lavaeu's hair. "Um..is there anything you wanted to do?"

I raised my brow, more interested than ever. Another sympathizer, it seemed. Good to see someone on my end, for once.
"Really? And a she, you say? Interesting."

I scratched my chin for a second, thinking... thinking...

=I smile, pleased that he took the news well=

"So, where is she then?"

I didn't hesitate. If she'd wanted to be here, she could've come. Hell, I would've welcomed here along. Could've been good, seeing someone who I could actually speak to for once, on a similar level.

I look away again and smile, looking over at Anton for a moment and nodding. This was some of the best news I'd heard in... in my life, really. I'd never had a real ally, Francis was more of an associate, and...

"Okay, that's wonderful news Anton. Thank you very much."

=I survey the army that I had gathered, a large sense of pride overwhelming me=

=I then see one of my soldiers come up to me, his face a barely hiding his fear=

Soldier: Yes...sir. I have some news that you should hear.

Pray tell, what exactly is the news?

Soldier: One of our informants on the outside...tells of someone gathering forces against the Nightbane.

That's not exactly news worthy...

Soldier: Here's the catch, the someone is also gathering werewolves to help them in that plan...and your plan with Nick Knight was mentioned.

=I growl and slam my fist=

Find that person and bring them to me...I want to hear what their plans are. And bring them to me alive...I have no use for a corpse.

Soldier: Understood...sir.

=The soldier dashes out to carry out my orders. I had to stop this plan in its tracks...before events cycled out of control=

(Claire)

I step out of the bar, looking to get some fresh air. I walk down the streets just looking around.

=Two of Damire's best soldiers spot Claire=

1: -There's our target. This is just retrieval. Damire wants her alive.-

=The other one moves into position=

I struggle then realize its hopeless.

"Well..."

I look at them with a glare.

"Your boss needs to learn manners, this is no way to treat a lady.."

=The first one looks at her, darkly amused=

=The second one puts a blindfold over her eyes=

1: We hope you understand, he just wants to know certain things. We're just following orders.

=The second one ties up her hands, and they start to take her to Damire's hideout, who was waiting for her arrival with interest=
