Maybe. The couch is taken. And I don't have any spare clothes here. So you want to stay, you'll have to get some spare clothes. I'm sure I have some blankets or something to make a temporary bed. The only guests I usually have here..uhm....usually don't stay here longer than one night. If you get my meaning.

I stop at a cart, standing under the umbrella and watching the rain hit the streets. The guy said something about buying something, but he couldn't exactly stop me from standing where I wanted to. I wondered where Dawn was, what she was doing. I couldn't place the feeling, but some part of me felt warmly towards her. She felt...Familiar. I mulled over that, then decided to head on over to the public library. I needed to check some records.

Well, there is my true home, where I actually live. This just being my safe house slash drop house. Or there's mister Anton's house, or whatever safeohuse our friend in the other room would give you.

I finally reach the library and head up the steps. Once at the top, I push open the great oak doors, stepping inside and hearing the dripping of the rain off of my suit penetrating the silence around me.

I though for a few moments. What was I going to do about my family, my friends? I could... Visit my parents maybe? One last time.

I insist, you take the bed. Besides, the only place to sleep is in the other room, and I don't think you're ready to sleep in the same room as a helpless.

I approach the counter and spoke softly to the woman there. I asked where the records of the city were kept and she gave me directions. I headed down the rows of shelves, admiring the age of some of the books listed there. Eventually I made it to the back area, opening the gated door and stepping inside. I headed over to the nearest shelf and began my search, flicking through old pages and documents that were heavily faded until a certain set of words caught my eye.

I looked up at Seln, which made him no longer 'vampire' or blur. An improvement, I say.

Well of course it is. Being born in 1387 does make you fairly old.

They will, but you can see them, try to explain. They won't understand, but you can try to talk to them. Tell them you are going away for a while, that you might not see them again. It'll hurt, I admit, telling your parents that you have to leave forever, but it really is for the best.
