=i walked up the short steps and booted the door open, hitting the tiny lever near the bottom that unlocked the door. When I often had large or heavy packages, it was a good thing to have. I shouldered my way in past the door and with a flick of my boot, I closed it behind me, taking a mental note that the sun was starting to dip in the sky. I made sure the door latched shut and went upstairs, taking the bundle of clothes with me=

(Sofia)

=I grin=

=I slip on my holsters and slip my guns into them, and then slip my concealed dagger in my boot=

A girl always enjoys a complement.

After she got dressed, Dawn went over and gently pulled Sofie close for a deep kiss.
"Just a parting gift. Ready to see if Ari will accept you?"

(Sofia)

=I take the kiss fully=

=I grin=

And that was a great parting gift.

"Good. Now let's go." Dawn saie.

(Sofia)

=I follow Dawn=

=I continue to follow her onto the bike=

Revving the bike, adawn was off.
"We are going ro the meatpacking district. There is an abandoned warehouse." Dawn said. "Leader is Ari. Bastard is old as hell."

=I then keep silent as I just simply enjoy the thrill of having the wind in my hair, my expression like a little girl=

Dawn finally stops outside the Warehouse.
"Now. Don't panic."

Leading her inside, she suddenly was pounced on by...a child. The girl expetly sat on her, head moving to the music.
"Tria."
"Sis."

=I watch as a child pounces on Dawn, and my voice trails off in surprise=

Well, you've seen stranger, Sofie...

=I nearly giggle=

Tria looked at Sofie. "Sis. Why is her scent all over you?"

Dawn stayed silent, blushing, as an older man walked over
"What do we owe the pleasure, Dawn?"
"She needs a pack."

Ari looked at Sofie. "Name?"

=I arched an eyebrow briefly=

So this is Ari...he's at least twenty years my senior...

Sofia Marivich, at your service.

=I bow as I say it=

"So you need a pack. Why should I accept you?" Ari asked bluntly.

(Sofia)

I have experience working with a pack.

=I quirk an eyebrow=

And one of your own has go off on their own. That, I've taken on several vampires in single combat, and lived.

"Tria bears the mark of the Lone Wolf. At her age she bested three vampires at once, alone. She barely lived, but she lived. Can you boast such an accomplishment?" He sighed. "Do not test my patience."

(Sofia)

I killed seven on my own and barely lived.

=I bow=

And I lead a pack of my own before they were slain. So I understand your position.

"Who slaughtered them?" Ari asked. "I might not be the most warmongeering leader, but the death of an entire pack must be atoned for." He said.

=i listened in from a nearby chair, previously playing a board game with Tria before the arrival of the others. I watched, listened, and waited for my chance to speak=

=I sigh=

It was back in the 1970's in New Orleans, and the hands of the Silver Hand.

=I nearly growl=

They're a vampire extremist group in the Deep South, and their influence doesn't extend this far north.

"Veni. Your input?" Ari asked as Tria played with Dawn's hair, knowing her sister was powerless in the heart of a wolfpack.

I'd like to see what she can do first. Her abilities. Her strengths and flaws. She can talk all she wants, but actions speak louder, as the term goes.

=I grin, the thrill of a challenge coursing through my veins=
